Privacy
How we handle your information.
In short: we only collect what we need for research, we never sell it, nothing we publish identifies you, and you can leave whenever you want.
What we collect
The contact details you give us when you join — a phone number, and the language you would like us to use. The answers you choose to share in our conversations and short surveys.
Nothing else. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and does not track the people who visit it.
Why we collect it
Research, and nothing else: to understand what people think about the events affecting their lives, and to report those views accurately. We do not use your details for advertising, and we will not contact you about anything other than research.
Who sees it
A small research team. What we publish is combined results — numbers, patterns, and quotations that carry no name and no contact details. We never sell your information, and we never share it in a way that identifies you.
How we keep it safe
Your details are held on access-controlled systems, available only to the people who need them for the research. Contact details are kept apart from answers, so that the answers we analyse are not tied to the person who gave them.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details for as long as you are taking part. If you ask to leave, we remove them from our contact lists. Answers are kept without contact details for as long as the research they belong to is in use.
Your choices
- Leave at any time. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop contacting you.
- Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct it if something is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it, and we will.
For any of these, write to admin@peoplesvoices.net.
